Sunlight on the Dryer

This window gets all the sun.
You know how some

windows can do that?
Even the air that pours

in is bright.
Half-blocked by a ladder

and some cardboard boxes,
you should still see what this window
does for the dryer.

Overlooking some garbage cans
and a parking lot

it doesn’t sound like much.
But, they could fill the parking lot

with red wheelbarrows
glazed with rainwater

and it wouldn’t make a difference.

It couldn’t get
any more glorious.
