Nonsense About Alice for Philip

(or Vice Versa)

Alice, I love you
what do you say

we just kind of
Lewis Carroll our way

out of this place?

I’ve got fifteen dollars,
a door, a mouse, a dormouse

a key, a keychain, and a key hole.
The rest of my day

is totally free. Except for
the shrinkage fee.

In Cheshire, all the cats
smile at me

but who cares.
Philip says

we can stay
over there.

Come on,
it’ll be fun!

We can
play Hearts!

He says bring
a deck

with 51 cards.
