Gentrified

and two in the back,

a shower curtain
for a curtain,

boxes of old plates
and VHS tapes

all over the porch,
a world held together

with chicken-wire

over where they keep

the trains.
Every time you drop,

blonde, by,
and blue-eyed,

you consider it
gentrified.
