I Know Everything

I do, unfortunately, I do.
If given the option

between knowing a little
about a bunch of things

or knowing everything about everything
choose the former.

Knowing everything
isn’t likely

to save you from anything.
In fact, I know it won’t.

It won’t save you
It won’t save me

It won’t save flowers,
or birds or trees.

I’m working on forgetting
I know everything.
